She also attended at the University of Kentucky, where she majored in Vocal Performance, and at Eastern Kentucky University, where she focused on Music Education and the Percussive Arts. Mari Anne began her professional music career in Jacksonville, Florida, and also sang in 'Voices of Liberty' at EPCOT Center in Walt Disney World. She has been living in the Midwest for eight years.
Mari Anne’s soulful addition to the Acoustic Chicago collection exhibits her subtle, yet remarkably flexible singing chops. Also on board, using his astonishing ten-finger guitar technique is fellow Acoustic Chicago artist Andreas Kapsalis . The experience of writing “Waiting For Me” was a unique occurrence for the both of them, and the beautiful piece was a result of the sum of their two talents perfectly complimenting each other. Mari Anne is an artist truly influenced and fueled by her peers, and her dreams.
