Acoustic Chicago will host an eco-friendly event to build further awareness of the growing green movement in which Chicago has gained some national attention. We have sent out a call for creative minds to focus on one particular issue: Protecting the environment. With an environmentally conscious approach, we hope to share a natural vision of art in which various forms of creativity compliment each other. A true fusion of multiple types of art including music, dance, painting, photography, fashion, film, and video, the E-coustic Chicago Art and Environmental Celebration’s purpose is to support these art forms and the deserving artists behind them, while maintaining environmentally conscious themes throughout the evening.
How will these art forms be fused?
- Gallery Environment-The entire venue will be set up strategically to achieve the highest level of connection possible between art forms.
- Live Music - Featuring Acoustic Chicago Acts performing live and a collection of up and coming Chicago artists and Eco friendly “green” fashion designers displaying their works and interactively participating in the performances. Musical acts include;
The Andreas Kapsalis Trio, Sarah Potenza, Mike Mangione, Micki Croisant, Jen Porter,
Malcolm Palmer, Scottish McMillan, & Mari Anne Jayme

Fashion Eco-friendly fashions from Excentrique will consist of designs from local favorite Lara Miller as well as celebrity designer Linda Loudermilk.

Live Art (Painters)Painters set up next to the stage/on the stage; complete painting by the end of the set or end of the event.
Artists are encouraged to make their work out of recycled materials or through environmentally friendly processes.
- Interactive Art Video screen will be set up behind the performer (back drop style); VJ will interact visually as the performers play, giving the audience a unique visual experience.
- Live Dance – Great local dancers to compliment the live music, improvising and further developing a mood for a certain song.
- Art Gallery- A select group of artwork will be on display throughout the venue.
Here is how we will get the artistic talent necessary to put on such an event:
- Featured Visual Artists will be selected from submissions from promotional campaign via the Stonecutter Records, Joes Sports Bar, Artist and sponsor websites.
